It's not hard to imagine why a frog would not want to die. For the same reasons it's easy to pick and play Frogger 2, a "fast, simple arcade action, and the many new twists on old puzzles please fans of the original game," according to Gamespot. Prepare to begin "dodging stampedes, hiding from automated lawnmowers, avoiding spiders as [the frog] spirals through the corridors of an anthill, or dancing over electrified tracks on a mine cart," as Daily Radar put it. The game also supplies you with a noise button which can make you, whenever you choose, to make the following noises "Ohh!, Ahh!, Grrr!, Burp!" IGN, Daily Radar and Gamespot all liked the game. IGN, however, worried over the game's effect on his sleep pattern, "Curse them," he said of the developers "for their high production values and commitment to overcome the sophomore jinx."
