Hunting games have a bad reputation amongst the critics. So you
know that Carnivores II must be doing something right when IGN says
that the game isn't that bad. The carnivores in question are dinosaurs,
whom you must shoot with a pistol, although as you shoot dinosaurs you
accumulate points to buy better weapons. There is some disagreement about
whether the dinosaurs really lived up to their reputation for hunting.
IGN felt they didn't; Daily Radar felt they did. Both, however, agreed
that for only $19.99 (not even $20!) the game should serve as a rewarding,
simple diversion for everybody."
