Carmageddon 3 couldn't appeal to a sophisticate like Daily Radar but, still, "on a dorky, juvenile level, a game like Carmageddon 3 can actually be somewhat appealing." Gamespot assured fans that Carmageddon has not changed anything in its cars-of-the-future-fight-in-the-nuclear-wasteland-of-tomorrow ("Strict traditionalists will be happy to hear that part three's visuals are not especially spectacular."). Not even "zombies, grannies, guys in suits, Molotov cocktail tossers, cowboys and clowns of all shapes and colors, all residing in terrifying theme parks, urban sprawls and desert wastes" could interest Daily Radar. Gamespot concluded, "The frustrating parts tend to overshadow the good ones."
