THE REVIEW by Robin Moroney for Gamers Today
"If you're over the age of 12 and are not a fan of the Rugrats show or movies, then you can stop reading right now," said IGN. Daily Radar felt that even fans and those under 12 years of age could give pass up this game. "It's a game plagued with some horrendously poor level design, frustrating game play and finger-bruising button mashing," said Daily Radar. The Rugrats run riot in a theme park, collecting tickets by playing the a series of mini-games including, "baseball toss, bumper cars, skee-ball, and "Chuckie Chan," where players can send that little carrot-top goofball flip-kicking wooden planks into pieces." IGN found some of these games simple and diverting, but Daily Radar couldn't get over what it considered to be dull, such as a sequence where the critic flew a plane, photographing cities, and got lost in a nightmarish maze of clouds. Rugrats in Paris: The Movie: the game: the mediocre marketing cash-in aimed at Christmas-hungry kids who don't really care what they're playing.
