THE REVIEW by Robin Moroney for Gamers Today

NFL Madden has not got complacent as the best football title on the N64. "With the lack of any real competition (Acclaim's Quarterback Suckfest [enter year here] doesn't cut it), what else can you look forward to on the N64?" inquired Daily Radar. This year Madden provides a Franchise mode, collectible Madden cards, a "slick" practice mode, and the ability to play the last play of the Superbowl, trailing by 6 with the ball on the 30 yard line," or whatever other situation you desire. "The good news is that Madden feels and plays like football," said IGN, referring to the game's intelligent opposition, intuitive but detailed controls and smooth animation. "For the football sim fan," said Daily Radar, "this is a must-buy because of the massive number of features as well as the new Madden goodies."
